Comments about Taylor® Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer (1522):
I bought this thermometer to monitor the temperature of my hot tub. The packaging said that was one of the uses for it. After a couple of months water got into the remote probe and now the outside temp only reads -40F. If you get one and intend to immerse it in water, I suggest coated the probe with silicone sealant or some other waterproof sealant before use. Since they are cheap and reasonably accurate I will likely try again with another one but will coat the probe.
