A simple retractable box cutter/utility knife combo. I am a home energy auditor and this tool sees a lot of use- the retractable blade sees heavy use in cleaning foam gun tips, cutting foam board and other energy saving insulation materials. the knife works well with thicker insulating material and batting.

I saw this knife in an ad and thought that it was way cool that it had a pocket knife as well. I have been through about 3 other utility knives and they have all broken in some way after about 6 months (I use this tool almost every day). This one is going strong a year later, and it's about the same size as the other knives I've owned (which didn't have the pocket knife). It's very very well built and very sturdy. I strongly recomend this to anybody, the price may be a bit more than you'd pay for an economy knife, but it will last much longer.

Very skeptical at first, but was very pleased when I applied it to the tasks at hand. I work as a stocker. Cutting boxes all day is my job, this knife can cut through tape and cardboard for days before the blade will have to be flipped. Very ergonomic feel with a slight bulkiness. The knife paid for itself many times over. Ever had a blade when you needed a knife, or vice versa? Now you can cut carpet with one end and cut rope on the other. It has a built in safety feature by not allowing more than one end open at anytime. Therefore you wont cut yourself or have an accidental slip. Definetly worth a try!
