This is good to distribute paint onto the wall, if you can stop it from dripping. It saves a lot of time back and forth to the roller tray or paint bucket. I used a brush to smooth out the edge it left. The black and decker paint stick is a much better product. Wish this edger worked as well, but it is good to get the paint out there.

This is a great tool for cutting in at base boards, ceilings, and around trim. It took me a little while to figure out the surface is rockered and that by tilting it up and angling it into the edge I could get a sharper edge. I didn't have to keep dipping a brush into a can, evening out the paint distribution on the brush and worrying about dripping on the floor. Plus it was cheap.
