In following up with my report in December, I finally had to call the company and did get a return call. It appears that the gelled oil was a bad batch that did not get pulled off the shelf by the retailer (HD). I received some replacement product that works well, and Mike at G Earth took care of repairs to my three saws of over $300. In the end, I was made whole except for my time of about 8 hours. I was promised some goodies of other products that they sell but have not seen anything. Even after a reminder, I still am waiting.
Anyway, the oil seems to be working now and I would buy more.

I really wanted this product to work, and it did work fine when I first bought some last summer. However, after my saw was unused for a few months I found the chain and bar rusted together. It took a lot of effort and soaking in WD-40 before I could even pry the chain off the bar. Worse, four attempts to contact the company (2 phones messages and 2 using their online form) were all ignored. So, if a company won't stand behind its product, that should tell you enough to not use it. I guess if you use your saw daily or weekly you wouldn't have this problem, but for the infrequent user it can be a real problem.

This oil clogged up two of my saws after it foamed up and spewed out like a can of shaken soda. One oil pump was stripped out and ruined. The other does not work and I am going to have to tear it apart to see if it is also stripped out. My email to the company was ignored, so I will be trying to contact them by phone. What a mess! Lots of down time, cost, and time spent on trying to fix my saws, and lost opportunities to get more firewood.

I have been clearing beetle killed trees for 6 years. I tried this first time last year and it is the best bar oil I have used. Doesn't gum up the chainsaw, lubricates great and cleans out of my clothes easily. Doesn't mess up my sinuses like petroleum oil does. Try it!

Best Chain Saw Oil, Why you might be askin? I cut trees all day long, owm my own tree service company. The main reason i use this oil is it "washes out of your clothes easy, like how chain saws tend to kickback the oil on your jeans" compaired to other base chain oils.Also, eco friendly if spilled on the ground. I just like the product!!

I went out to use my chain saw on a a cold day ant found the bar oil had turned to jelly. It is very hard to get it out of the saw. I tried heating it with a hair dryer which provided some help but it never turned fully back to liquid.

This is one product that lives up to the claims. Best oil I have used. I just can't wait for more products like this one. I hope to get their new 5W-30 G-Oil as soon as it is available at my local Ace.
