This is the best bird bath for the price. I have two in a garden set down in about 3" of soil and sand inside the tall neck basin. It cleans easly with clorex and dish detergent. Has a nice size bowl and the birds just love to splash away! Depending on your winter climate, it would be wise to cover, do not leave water in the bowl over winter, it will crack.

Lighter than expected. Have to fill with rocks and sand. The one I purchased six years ago developed cracks in the bowl. This one should not have that problem...I hope.

We are moving, and I purchased this so the birds would still have water when we removed the other bird bath to pack it. It took them a few days to adjust but they are ok now. I do not fill this all of the way as it is a little deep for the smaller birds. I ordered online and had it shipped to my local Ace store. I was notified immediately when it arrived and enjoyed the excellent customer service this store has always provided.This worked out great for me.

Exactly what I was looking for when I purchased it. We've been using it for 3 years without a problem. Inexpensive and haven't had any issues with it cracking or breaking. Add sand to the base and it is stable and still easily moved to a different location, if desired. The birds enjoy it! Plan to purchase a second one.
