The reel smart is great, but if a part breaks, like the lever to activate the rolling up process ( Your's SOL) as far i know, I've been on line trying to find the place where you can buy parts. This plastic part can't be too much but where does a consumer get it, HELP

I purchased this unit at another home improvement store...for the first season/year, it worked great; naturally, once the 2-year warranty ran out, the handle broke due to the valve assy. locking up.The concept and design of the unit, with its 3-piston water powered pump, is great; HOWEVER, the use of cheap soft plastics (ABS) for critical, close-fitting parts like valves and gears does not bode well for a reasonable life span. Ironically, one of the LEAST important parts-the hose guide near the base-is made of a stronger, harder plastic. Go figure-the parts subject to the most torque get junk materials, yet the "window dressing" is solid![...]

Our property is small and this keeps the garden hose neat and tucked away. We had purchased one several years ago for our front yard hose and wanted another for the back yard hose. Hubby had a habit of not puting garden hose away because "we might use it later". Wifey stumbled/fell over hose and we owned this new one the next day. The two sit side by side and look great. We are in our late 70's and really needed the extra help this product offers. If used correctly, we have had no breakage. Well worth the extra cost of the product.

We use the hose alot and we need a 100 foot hose on our property. but we have concreate walks and this makes a lot of friction for the auto rewinder so we have been trying to hand feed the Suncast® No-Crank Hideaway Hose Reel (RSH125)for the past year the handle that shifts the valve broke off it wold not shift to rewind. Very cheap design and the only part that really needs to be made well IS NOT. How flimsey this piece of junk is made. Suncast your engineering department should be fired. Or is it designed obsilecents if the part is only [$] and [...] make a better part for 5 bucks call it good

I purchased this two months ago and was very careful with the lever that retracts the hose. It broke and I am very dissappointed that I can't find a replacement part. I would NOT recommend this item.

Rewinds very slowly and not smoothly. Plastic part used to start rewind operation broke off even though we were very gentle with it. we had read the recent reviews and knew that the plastic parts were delicate. It was difficult to wind out for watering too. If this worked well we would have two of them. The idea is great

This product worked well untill the plastic parts began to crack and snap. the lever to rewind the hose is plastic and after exposure to sun for a year or so it becomes brittle and snaps. I would not purchase this product again.

its good until it breaks, than you can t find the parts. The attachments to the hose are made out out of plastics, they break easily.
