The top does not fit properly and the ties to keep it on broke during assembly. I am not impressed with the way it is put together. It is not worth the price.

This product is poorly designed. It has a large volume but the engineering does not support it. The material is flimsy and the connectors are weak. Despite trying to reinforce, the doors have been pulled off by critters and our compost is strewn around the yard.

It's inexpensive and looked good on the display, plus was on clearance, but after getting home and trying to put it together I was furious. It's is simple to put together, but flimsy as heck. All connectors are too week for this size of a plastic box.
We have winter now, and I still have to see if the hinges are going to hold anything together. The top is definitely not connecting well with the bottom, if I want to move it from the spot where I assembled it, to where I want it to sit, I am risking the whole thing falling apart.
I will attempt to use it, but will probably get a better, more stable one, later and move my mixture into it. I just don't trust this one to hold much.

Composter need ventilation but should have metal mesh or something that would block mice and rats from getting in. After I realized I was feeding colonies of rodents, I was afraid to open the lid to put anything in it. I have since moved and left the composter at the old house. I would buy this again only if I could figure out a way of blocking the rodents from entry.

I have had this composter for about a year and a half. This unit has two flimsy plastic straps to keep the lid from opening beyond 90 degrees. Both sraps are now broken. Recently one of the two hinges broke while opening in 15 degree weather.
It holds plenty of compost material, but the design of this composter is cheap.
