We were looking to replace our doormat with the same type. The 'old' doormat was left for us by the previous owners (we have had it for 32yrs).
I saw others like this that were held together by 'heavy coarse' rope. Not good enough, I wanted the metal to hold together the woven rubber. My husband said, "they don't make them that way anymore".
YAY! Huffco company to the rescue---just what we were searching for and at a really good price.

I looked for this type mat at various big-box stores for months before discovering it on Ace's web site.

These door-mats last FOREVER! My Grandmother always had one and I have had one at every address. They are not very attractive but they do the job and, again, last forever! Because of the open design the rain rains thru and doesnt stand on the mat.

I HAVE USED ONE OF MY MATS UP NORTH. IT IS OVER 40 YEARS OLD
AND IS JUST AS GOOD TODAY AS IT WAS THE DAY I BOUGHT IT.
THE SECOND DOOR MAT I BOUGHT AFTER I CAME TO FLORIDA AND THAT
ONE IS 30+ YEARS OLD AND ALSO IN NEW CONDITION.
HAVING JUST BOUGHT THESE LAST TWO, I HOPE THEY ARE AS GREAT
AS THE FIRST TWO.
INCIDENTILY, THESE LAST TWO WEREN'T BOUGHT TO REPLACE THE FIRST TWO. I HAVE TWO LARGE PORCHES WITH DOORS AT EACH END
AND THESE LAST TWO WERE PLACED AT THE DOORS WERE THERE WERE NO DOOR MATS. I AM SURE THEY WILL DO JUST AS GREAT AS THE FIRST TWO AND WILL LAST LONGER THAN ME. I'M 77 YEARS YOUNG.
