Great for waterproofing and sealing electrical crimp connectors used in automotive electrical repairs. The narrow tip allows the user to squirt just the right amount into the ends of the crimp connectors. If you need to build up layers, definitely wait 5 to 10 minutes between applications. Easier to use than heat shrink tubing, or if you want to seal connections that need to be waterproofed (or no heat-shrink tubing available). Can be used to replace insulation that has worn away from wires or pulled away from crimp fittings. Cleaner to use for small areas and to fill inside fittings than the brush-on product. The brush-on is great for larger areas, or to insulate between multiple plug-in connector wires. Great for preventing electrical shorts by insulating wires close to connectors. Prevents corrosion and oxidation, too. It can be messy if drips elsewhere, or if accidentally touched with hands,shirt sleeves,other wires,etc. before it dries (5-10 minutes dry to touch). I last used it to seal the ends of the numerous crimp connectors that had been used to rewire the headlights and horn on my 55 Chevy sedan...Sure beats having to rewire again to seal those connections with heat shrink tubing! Comes in multiple colors, too. I've used the brush-on for years,but just recently found the 1 oz. tube.
