Comments about VILLAGE BLACKSMITH V & B Manufacturing® Handy 2lb Mattock Tiller (85231):
I use the Hoe-Matic by Village Blacksmiths to pull buckthorn, honey-suckle and other invasive species. I was looking for another Hoe-Matic but it seems that it isn't made anymore. The first day that I used the V&B tool, I bent the tines and eventually broke one of them. The tool works well, but only for light work. Don't try using it to pull large saplings. I checked the V&B Manufacturing web site and they do have a 5 lb version, but that is probably too large. The Hoe-Matic is probably around 3 lbs, but definitely of much more solid construction that this item.
