Great trimmer head for ease of installation,loading and overall use. I have bought several and they cut well. HOWEVER, the greatest downside of his trimmer head is it does not last very long when cutting around sandy or course material in cemetery, gravel/dirt areas, because the bottom plastic cap wears away very quickly. I would recommend a metal or tougher material for the trimmer bottom as it takes a great deal of punishment. Also, the string pivot fixture holes tend to break. Suggest, make it tougher, and overall longer lasting for professional,(extreme) use. Good product, but needs improvement.

I bought the Weed Warrior Pivotrim replacement head while at Ace Hardware to pick up more trimmer line.
I own several trimmers but I love the Homelite Mighty Lite VT26 trimer as it is ultra lite and powerful, but the trimmer line winding spool is simply terrible, and takes longer to re-load than to actually trim the yard.
That is no longer an issue with the Pivotrim! as I installed it and actually got the entire yard trimmed without needing to reload the trimmer line (it was worn down to about half the length) on a half acre yard.
The line loads super easy without wasting any line. I can also use .095 line, when this trimmer with it's original spool style could only accept .080.
I highly recommend this product for anyone with the spool line-feed type trimmer.

I have to say in my opinion it beats out the other similiar products I've tried. Using the string it came with alone I was able to do my 1/2 acre fron & back yard with chan link fencing twice with no annoying tangles, having to respool, etc. If this happens to break I will definitely buy another one, may get one for backup anyways. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a replacement head.

This thing kicks butt!! I have tried most all of the common weed-eater heads and this thing took abuse in heavy weeds and brush for over a year before it came apart. Once loaded, the head spins 8 strings and makes short work of normal grass and weeds. I used it to cut weeds and brush to the ground in a rocky area. Nothing else even came close to holding up to this abuse. You do have to change strings fairly often when in rocky ground, but thats the price you pay I guess.
