I have used these in closet, under (both kitchen & bath)counter, inside car, inside cab of truck, in old house with musty smell, in car trunk where had spill, very old cabinet with musty smell, anywhere liquid or moisture has been absorbed and you need to dry faster... These are best at absorbing moisture, so it works to speed up process to dry stuff too such as patio chair/lounger pads... keeps any smelly area smelling good instead... Depending on your specific location... check to see how long each hanging bag lasts... I live in a humid area, therefore I try to keep in enclosed area (not air tight, of course)
