I have bamboo flooring and several cats. Sometimes I don't find their 'presents' until they are old and dried on. I needed a good cleaner that would take on the mess, not smell the house up with perfume, be environmentally friendly, not leave a residue and be non-toxic to my cats. This product is all of these things.
If you have big 'presents' then use some Simple Green first (let it sit on it for a bit), wipe it up with paper towel and then use this product. It works very well, is also earth/people/animal-friendly. Neither item hurts the finish on the floor or soaks in to cause buckling.
To avoid getting down on the old knees to clean the floor, I use the dry wipes on the Swiffer Wet Jet.
