Read directions carefully...you cannot paint this stuff on. You have to dab it on thick so you can create a seal between the product and the wood surface; otherwise it will start to evaporate and won't work. You need to leave it dwell for at least 20 minutes if removing poly and stain, and you may need to re-treat. Watch out, because it will raise the grain of the wood, and you will need to sand afterwards. I wasn't really happy with this product and will probably be picking up something else.
