I bought this heater due to the cold weather in Florida & couldn't be happier. I have a large living room and it kept it very toasty warm. I like the fact that you change from 750 to 1500 watts & select how warm you want it to be. Great product for the price, run it all night with no problem, sure cuts down on the heating bill.

My sons' co-worker bought one, it did not work, exchanged it
for another. It did not work either. When plugged in, the light
came on but nothing else. The dial did nothing. He gave it to my son for me to tinker. I found the overload thermal fuse protector to be bad (open). Once bypassed still no joy. Checked
the wiring and found open circuit to the fan and coils. Moved
hot wire going to the light terminal on the hi/lo switch to the
hi terminal. Everything works correctly, but now has no thermal overload protection. (jumpered)
PS. On testing the hi/lo switch, I found it to be a single
pole single throw lighted switch, it parallels the two coils.

Comments about Soleil® Small Milk House Heater (LH-872):
I did like this originally, it worked well and I especially liked the thermostat, however, it burned up a plastic part inside and without that, it won't work, so it didn't even last for more than two months here in Phoenix's winter, which is really mild.

Like this little heater! Needed it when large heater went out. Have lent it to two friends who now own them as well. Only drawback that I could find is that on the high watt setting, it threw our house fuse!

[...] tryed it in my very small bathroom, even with the shower running this heater is so loud.Heat out put is NOT very hot. Do NOT like this heater at all. To loud & doesn't heat well. Guess the old saying of (you get what you pay for) is true. I'll be looking for something else.[...]

Comments about Soleil® Small Milk House Heater (LH-872):
Bought this heater due to cold weather in Florida to keep my 2 dogs warm. Liked the fact that it was metal and had a safety cut -off. After using it 6 or 7 times, the thermostat burned out! There is NO WARRANTY and no place that I am aware to get a new thermostat. Waste of money. Better to pay a few extra dollars and buy better quality.

nice heater, compact, like the fact it is good old fashion metal and has a tip over switch in case my kids knock it over. Throws nice heat for the price.

Comments about Soleil® Small Milk House Heater (LH-872):
According to the reviews I have read, this heater does a decent job heating small areas and a good overall value for the money. As far as any possible thermostat problems goes for some users, it seems like it could eventually fail on long continuous use on high heat. Since I live in South Florida where the temp only drops below 50 for a few weeks a year I believe this unit should do the job.

Comments about Soleil® Small Milk House Heater (LH-872):
My furnace broke so was looking for some low wattage heaters and these came with a 750 watt and 1500 watt setting I bought 3 of these for my bedrooms and I keep them on the 750 watt settings for less energy use. My rooms are around 10x10 and they do a good job keeping them warm. I had these working for a month now and they are working fine. They arent meant for bigger rooms I have a different heater for that.

Comments about Soleil® Small Milk House Heater (LH-872):
We bought one of these at work and it appeared to work well so I decided to order one for home. Both of the heaters had the same weak point, the thermostat. Within a week or so the thermostat failed on both. I have used electric heaters before and found that they usually last for years so I threw away the packing and receipt. There is no warranty and no UL approval. A waste of money!
