Comments about Channel Master® Metrotenna UHF/HDTV 2 Bay Antenna (4220HD):
I wanted to replace my satellite service with over-the-air programming. I pulled the satellite dish off the mount, and installed the antenna. Have to agree, the rubber boot may work for a cable that hasn't been made up yet, but after the end is on the coax cable it will not go on.
I live in an area served by a repeater, and the reception is outstanding for a small, well built antenna. There is only one store in the area that handles external antennas, and that is Ace Hardware. If they didn't have a Channel-Master, I would have had to purchase one online.

Comments about Channel Master® Metrotenna UHF/HDTV 2 Bay Antenna (4220HD):
It is a good deal[...]My antenna had a few negatives:1)One of the grid rods was bent in a rainbow shape in the middle;however I was able to straighten it. 2) Mounting bar that bolts to the front of the mast clamp assembly did not slide over the antenna, but I had a bench grinder & only had to remove less than 1/32 of its lenght then it fit between the grid rods (if you were to force it you could damage the antenna.) 3) Rubber boot provided that slides over your cable connecting to the antenna was way too small to slip over the coaxial cable, so I cut off 1/8" at the small end increasing its diameter.I am suffering no buyer's remorse, but I have had this antenna less than a week. It is super light weight & stealthily constructed. Furthermore, I am impressed with its range since I live in a valley with trees all around the entire area. Some channels I am receiving are approx. 40 miles away. I do have a mini in line amplifier connected to it too. I mounted the antenna to a satellite J arm assembly bolted to the edge of my roof. The real test will come when we have a severe thunderstorm whether it will holdup. We had winds yesterday of approx. 30 mph & it did not even flex! For the price you can not beat it.[...]
