Replaced a worn-out tethered pump switch in a crowded sump pit. I like the fact that all moving parts are enclosed and don't get hung-up in the sump on other parts.

First review I think I've ever done - this switch is FAR superior to those stupid piggy-back switches that you sometimes have problems with. My origianl switch wouldn't trigger "on" but this Glentronics Basement Watchdog switch works perfectly. Water touches the bottom float, lifts is 1/4" and then it runs for 10 seconds - just long enough to pump out all the water (it's on a timer; not mechanical). There's a secondary float near the top if the first one ever failed, but doubtful it will. [...]- highly worth it; saving me much time and agony with the traditional piggy back float that never worked. Thanks ACE!
