Comments about 3M Scotch® No Residue All Weather Duct Tape (P2425):
I used it 2 years ago outside to adhere plastic window film to siding to cover sliding door and windows for winterizing. The double-sided tape that comes with plastic film is lousy. It is easy to use even in cold weather and stuck perfectly to a difficult surface - chalky painted wood shingles. It came off in the spring without leaving a trace of residue. Last year I used Nashua all-weather duct tape and it was an absolute disaster to remove the residue even with sanding, scraping, chemicals. Nothing would remove it. Stick with 3M.
