I installed the stove and love it . it keeps my home warm and sometimes too hot. If your looking for a great stove at a good price. stop looking and buy it. You wont be disappointed unless your trying to warm a 3000 sq ft home...If your on a budget and looking for a stove BUY THIS ONE!!!!

I bought this stove and have used it for the past few months. It works great and heats our 1300 sq ft. living space with no problems. The outer rooms are a bit cooler. Heats to well over 80 degrees and we need to open a door a bit to cool down. The only drawback we had was first setting up. I needed to add 4 more feet to my existing chimney to get a better draw for this stove verses my last one. We put one partial log on every 2-3 hours, and turn on the ceiling fan backwards to push the heat down. I would recommend this stove to folks looking to heat their home, not influence people. Great Item!

I use this to heat my entire home in northern arkansas--mild winters--min temps occasionally near zero, daytime in the 30-40 range. House is 1040 sq ft, max insulation--6" walls, R-60 attic. Stove is adequate, but would prefer ash pan, more complete air control (can't close off air input enough-causes wood to burn too fast)
Difficult to get more than 4-6 hours from a load of wood, no matter what I do--burns too hot and fast. Nice looking, glass stays reasonably clean (enough to view the fire), must clean ashes with a shovel which complicates continuous burn situation--need to clean ashes out, but don't want to remove coals...
Priced under 600. which is reasonable--next stove I get will be EPA with better air control and ash pan--larger fire box too. this one needs wood that is cut very short. I purchased the blower for this stove--totally not needed if you have a ceiling fan in the room and is noisy--waste of money...
In summary, this stove is adequate for my size well-insulated home (barely) and a good value.

heating less tan 1,000sq ft, froze my rear, had to reload 2-3 times in 8hr's use good dried oak wood.(no heat)blower does't do the job. WNT bk to the barral stove.

We recently purchased this stove to heat our 1000 sq ft home. We researched and looked around for quite a while before making our decision - we chose this one becuse of the good price and cute design. This stove is very efficient and heats up our house really quickly. I was worried the fire box might be too small, but it's much more roomy than I anticipated. Our wood is cut to 16 inches and it fits just fine. The large glass door stays clean and lets you easily see the fire. We keep a stovetop thermometer on it, and the surface temp is about 400* to 450* when it's dampered down with a big piece of wood in it. We also keep an Ecofan on top to help move the heat around. There is an optional blower that you can purchase - we haven't yet, but intend to soon. This is perfect for us!

This was a PERFECT fireplace for a family home. Efficient - and - Affordable. My husband and I put it in ourselves with no trouble. It is hard to find this size that has this much character and a big enough window to SEE the FIRE! :) We love it and saved $700+ finding it!

LOVE IT. Warms up quick. A small piece warms my room quite nicely. In fact it gets my small room which is 400 sq ft very well have to open windows to cool down
I just wish the inside box was a tad taller so I can bank the fire better for the night Wood is my only source of heat. Infactn i like it so much that I am going to get the bigger one for the main house

Great little stove,very well built,works great.Only dissapointment was it advertised easy access ash draw and it dosnt have one so you have to clean it out through the door,still a great buy A 5 star stove if they said it didnt have an ash draw
