Comments about Wayne® 1/2HP Shallow Well Jet Pump (56907):
I have been through three well pumps over the last 10 years. The original pump was worn out and I replaced it with a pump from [@]. It wasn't great, but moved the water at a relatively moderate pressure. I made the decision to upgrade to a jet pump a couple of years later that would have improved performance (again from [@]). The pump was more expensive and a severe disappointment. It was very quiet, but couldn't develop much pressure (there were no leaks). I decided after about six months of enduring low pressure to get the Wayne pump (got it at [@]...[$]).This pump is the best I've had. There is no pressure drop in the system (I have an accumlator at the pump house -5gal- and a large accumulator at the house). This pump should have racing stripes and warnings to keep small children off the streets... It is absolutely fantastic. There is a bit more noise associated with it, but not enough to be a nusiance. Wayne will be the only brand of pump I buy from this point forward.
