So easy to use. My son has a very expensive one cup maker but it only holds 8 ozs. And you need a blueprint to figure it out. I highly recommend this.

The Black & Decker® Single Cup Coffee Maker is perfect for the office when you want to make a single cup of coffee or heat up a cup of water to make tea. It's fast, compact, and does the job. However, one big drawback that I have not read anyone else complain about it, is the strong plastic smell of the insulated drinking cup. Makes me wonder if there are any health issues surrounding drinking from the cup. I have started using my own cup to avoid the plastic odor.

We have had an earlier version of this for many, many years. I have searched high and low for another one for our RV. This little work horse coffee pot has churned out cup after cup each day for our coffee drinking family. We bought an expensive coffee pot/espresso maker combo, but we all drink our coffee differently and at different times of day. This way, we all get our own.
And we're very picky about our coffee, so much so that we take this little brewer when we go in our RV.
It's super fast and there is NO burning of your coffee like on a standard brewer with a hot plate.

I've tried several smaller coffee pots for that one cup I need in the afternoon at work and this is it!!!! It makes a great, very hot single cup of coffee. It's quick and small enough to keep on my desk, no waste like with the 4 cupper pots I've tried. Couldn't be happier with it. The thermal mug is very nice size, and comfortable to drink out of. Very sturdy.

I'm the only coffee drinker at our house. This unit brews a perfect cup every time. You can make a regular cup, or fill to the limit line for an over-sized cup. The stainless mug it comes with keeps coffee very hot for a long time. The reusable filter screen is a money saver; very easy to clean. I would recommend this to anyone.

It is impossible to clean the filter without putting grounds into the sink drain. This may create a problem.
