Bought trimmer from TV advertisement that as it turned out was very very misleading. After the initial battery charge the unit only operated for less than five minutes and after the second charge the unit only operated around a minute and a half. It has been hanging in my garage since the first week after purchase, it is useless, very false advertising. Replacement of 18 volt lithium battery costs almost half of the cost of the entire unit.

I purchased my Worx GT in June 2009. I saw a commercial on TV where I could get the weedeater, blower, trimmer, etc. all for one price - a great deal! When I received the products I was so excited about giving it a try. HOWEVER . . . when I went to use the weedeater for the first time I also found, just like the other folks reviews that the battery only lasts about 10 minutes. I have a medium to large yard so I didn't get very far before I had to recharge the battery again which took about 3 hours to charge each time. So, I decided to purchase a second battery in hopes that maybe I could get farther - but it was the same story. Now I don't even use the weedeater. But I do use the blower and trimmer which are wonderful, as long as you don't have a lot to do. I am disappointed that I was mislead in how long the battery lasts.

This is the saddest example of 'easy living' garden tools I have yet to purchase. The battery didn't last but one season and I now have to replace it. I am going to make sure my friends do NOT purchase this item.

I purchased the Worx Cordless String Trimmer and the battery didn't last 3 months. I would not recommend this product to anyone. It's expensive and not worth the money you pay for the trimmer and certainly not worth buying the replacement batteries.
