We bought two of these barrels and they are great. The lid fits tight so it creates pressure for a forceful gush of water when you open the leaver. Recommend this style! Help conserve a precious resource, WATER!

Overall a good barrel and a good diverter. There are few leaks on the diverter part but can be fixed with a sealant. There is, however, a design flaw - the spout is located too high up the barrel and makes it impossible to get water out unless the barrel is a third full.

We like the color. It sort of blends in and does not stand out. The main reason we bought it. I like the rain diverter that came with it. Easy to instal.
The spigot hight is ok if you put the barrel up on cement or brick blocks. An additional feature that should be included is a drain plug at the very bottom to completely drain the barrel. There is a few gallons of standing water below the spigot that can't be drained unless the barrel is tipped over.

Easy to install with normal hand tools. This is my second Fiskars Rain Barrel and I am very satisfied with both. Each one will fill (58 gal) with around 1/2 inch of rainfall.
Another excellent feature is that once full, it does not overflow and put water near your foundation. It automatically diverts the water down the downspout and out into the yard. A great feature. I have seen a number of rain barrels and none have the features of the Fiskars.

I had to put a slab of concrete paver under the barrel to be able to fit my watering can under the spigot. Make sure you check for this BEFORE hooking it up to your downspout. the diverter kit comes with it and works really well. Now that it is fall and I have seen how well it worked over the summer, I have gotten 2 more to take advantage of my roof and to be able to water more of my plants.

This rain barrel was easy to install, looks good and filled up quickly during the Rainmageddon we experienced recently. [...] I bought the PRO diverter kit along with the barrel (because I thought the barrel only came with the regular diverter) and then had to make another trip back to the store to return the PRO kit.
