I looked at a cheaper hatchet, but I decided to go with this one. It is worth every penny. Because it is sharp and well balanced, it is easy to use. I have been tearing out some bushes in the yard, and this makes short work with the roots. A few quick cuts, and the whole bush is out. I am just sorry I did not buy this earlier.
