I had a drainage problem for a long time in my front bed. I put down egg rock with nothing underneath it and eventually it would sink into the soil and get weeds and grass between the rocks. I couldn't establish a neat border. This stuff works great under mulch or egg rock for a landscaping border and is pliable enough to cut and install around curves. If you order online and have it delivered to a local Ace store you can avoid shipping charges too - yippee!
