-There is a clear plastic decal placed over the LCD display to protect it from scratches during shipping. 5.3 is printed on it. Peel this off and discard before use.
-Scan a copy of the useful plant moisture value list and keep it on your computer for backup should you lose the orginal.
-This unit will eventually require replacement of three button cell batteries.
-I'm very happy with this meter. It works great.
