I have been sanding the hull of a 41' fiberglass sail boat. I use this vac with the optional bags that are designed to trap fine dust particles. Using the bag also seems to improve suction. I connect it to my Dewalt 12000 OPM orbital sander and nearly all of the fiberglass dust gets sucked into the bag. It's a very clean and safe way to sand fiberglass. Best of all, the bags keep cleaning the vac very simple. Highly recommended.

used it 3 times but is still under warranty w/ shop-vac...they are sending a brand new motor unit free of charge...it must have been an issue because it was one of the 1st things on the problems list off the website...great little machine though..hope this one lasts as long as my other two...i've had one for 15yrs and the other 10yrs...

I would not recommned this product for use on carpet floors or to pick up pet hair. The suction in this vaccume is very week and the power cord is only about 4 feet long. I am sure that it would work okay on tile or cement flooring.
