I love this fan(had it 4yrs now) this fan is so soothing, it have 2 settings low and high. The low setting to me is consider high and the high is consider super high. I use my fan all year round. In the summer I can turn it on and set the air on medium and it will keep the whole house cool (total of 9 rooms on 1 level).On summer night we turn on the fan and open the windows and we would have to turn the fan off around 4am because we be freezing. Also in the spring and fall we dont have to use the a/c, I just turn on the fan and the house stays betwen 67 to 70 degrees. In the winter I run it so it keeps the moisture in the house from the heat being on. My kids love it because the sounds puts them to sleep. One day my son(age10) said mom turn on the fan I said its cold he said I cant sleep with out the sound. I place my fan in the back of the house by a window and crack a window maybe an inch and one front window and the circulation is great. Cleaning it is easy, you just take it outside spray it down with the water hose and dry it with a towel. The fan is heavy but very stable. It's easy to assemble 4 things to attach! It is adjustable but the higher you raise it the harder it is for the clamp to grasp it, so I just clamp it and duck tapped around the pole to make it thick enough not to slide backdown. Overall I wouldnt trade this for any other fan or a/c. I also used it outside on a hot sunny summer!
