i REALLY LIKED THIS PRODUCT UNTIL WE HAD A 25 MPH WIND FOR SEVERAL HOURS. THE BLADES BENT AND THE SHAFT BROKE. SO NOW THE FRAME WILL BECOME A FLAG HOLDER.

We love this windmill and just bought our 3rd one. They are very affordable, easy to assemble, very durable, have very accurate wind direction performance, and the black metal design coordinates very well with our other black metal yard art. For maintenance, we spray a little WD-40 on the wheel bearings every few months to keep them lubricated. We've had 2 of them for over a year and have only had a problem with one of them during 70 mph winds last month. For that one, the fan wheel was blown backwards off of it's bearings packed inside the center. We have fixed it by placing a thin metal washer that is the same width as the wheel center hole on the back side of the fan and by replacing the inside metal sleeve spacer between the 2 bearings with a shorter one. It is working great again and is a real joy to watch them all spinning away! Highly recommend!!
