Comments about Ames® Arctic Blast® 18in Aluminum Snow Shovel (1640400):
Used the snow shovel twice for short time; once in 6" snow and once in 2" snow. Plastic D-handle broke the first time and had to nurse it along the second time to keep it from completely breaking off.
Hope I can either get a replacement handle or replacement shovel...will check with local dealer.

Comments about Ames® Arctic Blast® 18in Aluminum Snow Shovel (1640400):
First snow in North Carolina. Wore out the aluminum shovel. I got the job done, but the shovel is finished. The grommmets detached, the blade bent. I tried a plastic one next, the only thing they had left. Don't even bother, it won't get the the hardened snow off. I'll take it back and get a heavy steel pusher.
