I have a concrete driveway, so the snow left behind by shoveling with a plastic shovel doesn't melt in the sun. I bought this because I thought it would scrape down to the bare concrete better and sure enough it does. It's not the type of shovel that you shovel a foot of snow with, this is for shoveling a few inches or the packed layer that remains after using a regular shovel.
If you want to get all the snow you can off of your driveway, this is the perfect shovel for you.

In Erie we get snow and lots of it. This shovel is perfect for cleaning off pavement. The weight and angle of this steel snow pusher makes easy work of pushing snow. It does the job right the first time. It is much heavier than I thought it would be. Not that that's a bad thing.

We bought both the steel and aluminum shovels to see if one was better. They both do a great job and cut down on the time it took to clear the driveway because of the wide blade. The aluminum one is lighter so it is easier for my wife, but the steel one was fine for me. We'll get more next year so the whole family can help!

Excellent shovel, it easily scrapes up tire ruts. Shovel is heavy enough to scrape the drive with little effort. With heavy snow, it may be a little heavy.

It works much better then any of those plastic shovels. It scrapes snow off the ground cleanly with very little effort. Its weight keeps it on the ground and the curve on the blade throws snow forward on it top edge in a rotating fashion, very much like a mini plow. It is very well build and feels very robust.
