I got this for Christmas and love it. It keeps the water and food particles from spraying back up out of the disposer and it keeps things from falling into the disposer. I love the scrapper for scraping the larger items into the disposal. One of the greatest inventions since sliced bread.

I bought one of these disposal Genies about 3 years ago at the Denver Home Show. We love it! Our is red in color. Whenever people come to visit they almost always comment on it. Once they see how it works they want one too! I never knew you could get them any place other than the Home Show. Looks like I will be visiting ACE Hardware soon. I hope it comes in different colors. At the home show it came in about 5 different colors.
Wonderful item. I would definitly recommend. I don't know how the guy has the problem with it falling in his disposal. We have never had that problem.

I really like the disposal genie. I have a Kenmore disposal and it fits great. I had lots of problems with my silverware and small items falling down in the disposal. The Disposal Genie keeps them out. When rinsing plates, the small-medium food particles can go into the disposal with the water. For bigger items you can just pull it out and it has a nice edge to clean your sink and push everything into the disposal. Originally, I didn't want to spend the money on it, but it was worth every penny.

Great idea but slight design flaws led me to dispose of this product. It kept falling into my disposal and was difficult to get out. I hate sticking my hand into the disposal so this was really annoying. Also, even when properly in place, water and food would spray out when the disposal was turned on.
