The adhesive worked great on the walls. In fact, I took out the screws on a full panel of dry wall and pushed on it from the exposed stud side, and the panel didn't budge.
The only difficult part was getting the bead to stay on the ceiling. I took some measurements and ran the bead on the drywall itself which made it more time consuming, but still well worth it. If the bead was able to stick better to the wood strips itself, this product would be unbelievable.
