This paint applies easily. It is almost too watery during application. It goes on a chocolate brown and dries quickly to a flat black. I used it on rough cut oak boards and pine decking boards on a 3 board fence. This coats and seems to seal like a hard plastic coating. I had used Alcatraz asphalt paint before and it seems to dry more like a stain. This product seems to protect the wood and dry more "dense" tar coating. This product was cheaper than others I looked at as well. I really like this. Remember it goes on a nasty brown color.... but dries nice.
