Pretty tough. It lasted 2 years of full time winter heating day and night including through the cold of 2010-2011 in edgewood. Finally broke but i am getting another 1. Has plenty of airflow to get a great hot fire going and large enough hole to allow the ashes to fall. Excellent bargain!!
