I struggled to find 48" replacement sliding screens for the large sliding doors in our sunroom. One screen was missing when we bought the house, and the other was in rough shape. Having no luck I settled on these despite the poor reviews, and I'm regretting it.
First, the instructions are vague in several areas. There is mention of removing the metal "hood" at the top if the opening is 78.5" or less, but no detailed instructions on how to do so, and no instructions on what to do with the roller wheels and no predrilled holes on the top of the screen to reattach the wheels after removing the hood.
The frame is extremely flimsy and bends easily. One of sliders got caught on the track and when applying minimal pressure to free the slider and get it moving, the frame actually bent where the handle is and now does not close properly.
While tightening the adjustment screws, one completely broke. I am not that strong and applied a normal amount of force. From other reviews it sounds like this is a common problem.
All of the above happened within a day of installation, so I can only imagine how well these will (won't!) hold up over time. As a new homeowner I've dealt with plenty of "cheap" products and lousy instructions, but this product is by far the worst.

Replacing the door isn't super complicated, but there are enough variations that a sheet of directions would be helpful.
I liked the convenience of in-store pickup.

The door height adjusting screws broke right away before
I even finish installing it. I have to buy better
nuts to fasten the screws. It is cheap stuff.

The screen within the frame is good. Looks good. Seals good. But: Hardware holding vertical adjustment top panel breaks quickly. Hardware holding wheels breaks quickly. One broken wheel ruins otherwise smooth movement (two broke). Plastic inside handle broke. [...] Oh, and I've had this for less than four months (and babied it). Failures were so complete (except for screen), maybe it was a fluke.
