I bought this extruded aluminum screen door for a rental unit- we have had nothing but trouble with the usual aluminum doors because it is in direct and hot sun- so the rubber and plastic would melt; looked terrible. Our manager suggested we get an extruded aluminum door because it would last much longer and look good for years. he installed it with no problem. It looks great . So especially for those areas that get a lot of wear, I would suggest this type of aluminum - It costs more, but will last much longer.
