i used it dry vacuum. the 2nd time i used it, i smelled a bad odor after using it less than 5 minutes. the plastic under the motor completely melted.

This vacume is great.Water comes in around the shower in my basement and there is no place to install a pump.With this vac and the built in pump,solved my problem.I put the pump hose on the shower floor and it draines itself.
