These steps are perfect for any small pet up to about 30 pounds. The steps are sturdy with no wobble and are lightweight enough to easily move to any location your pet might need them. Our arthritic cats loved using them to climb up to their favorite window perches and napping places. The cover comes off, goes back on easily and is easy care. Gentle wash and dry cycles usually keep it from shrinking too much. Makes a good gift for other pet owners.

You position the stairs against the object you want the cat to access e.g.bed. Because the doggy step unit is narrow, my cat can't see the top of the bed while standing on the steps. Therefore, he's hesitant to jump up.

Using these steps are second nature now. She actually checks for them before jumping from higher places. I have a few around the house because the Ace price is very reasonable. You can take the steps apart for trips since it dismantles very easily. There are many pet steps around, but this is a great product at a good price.

I bought these for my 19 year old cat who suffers from arthritis in her hips. She had trouble getting on to the couch and would pull herself up using her claws. Watching her climb down was scary - it always looked like she was going to fall (and sometimes did). These steps allow her access to the couch pain and fear free. She has no trouble using them....yay!

We purchased the first one a few weeks ago for our 9 year old cockapoo who has arthritis could no longer get up on the sofa. After a little coaxing with treats, she learned to use the doggy steps very quickly and now goes up and down them on her own. We bought the 2nd one for our 14 year old cat who has trouble getting up to her "dining" table. Problems solved!

These are the only stairs my dogs will use. We spent a lots of time trying to get them to use new stairs we bought, but in the end they wouldn't use them and the other set of stairs only lasted a month before it broke.
These are by far the best steps and are very sturdy compared to other sets on the market. They are hard to find but I was lucky enough to find them at ace which is great since they offer free shipping to the store.
