This is a great pump for the value. The professional who drilled my well recommended I buy an Meyer HJ100 from Ace Hardware. When I went to Ace, I saw this pump for $100.00 less and bought it. It has been working like a champ for 3 years now. No problems.

I almost didn't buy it because of one bad comment, but I checked the competition and found nothing as powerful for the value. The Ace Guarantee calmed my fears. The pump installed easily. After priming the pump ran for about a minute before it took hold of the well water from about 20' deep. Adjusting the pressure switch is different from the ones I'm used to so it's a bit tricky. You have to put the cover box back on to run it.

I bought this pump and it worked well for 20 minutes and quit. I brought it back and got another one and it tripped the breaker right out of the box. Do not waste your time this piece of junk.
