I bought this ladder to get into my boat while sits on its trailer. Originally I purchased an aluminum ladder. I returned it because the oxidizing aluminum got my hands and feet dirty. I knew that a wood ladder would prevent that problem.
I am pleased by how sturdy this ladder is. The tool platform is very handy. The ladder is relatively light to carry around and quick to set up. The only downside I've encountered is that I got a splinter when I grabbed the back of one of the treads. Don't expect that to be a re-occurring problem - but after all, it is a wood ladder.

I had trouble finding a ladder with a paint tray attached. I've had one like this for years and couldn't image they'd stopped making them. But I found one at Ace.
