It does keep the squirrels out in my yard(both red and gray). The clear plastic(acrylic) of the 3 tubes is thin. The two springs are flimsy and begin rusting immediately. The spring attachment points are poor and not well designed. At the high price point, and only sold as a pair online, it should be much better in both materials and construction.
