Well-built unit, but every time the electricity goes off or has a glitch this unit can't remember its programming and powers itself down. So if you are away and there is a power surge or outage of any length, don't expect your lighting to turn on until you return home and re-set the device.

i bought one over 5 years ago and wanted another timer this year. i wound up returning two to different hardware stores.
one had instructions that left me crosseyed, and the second one didn't work. this is relatively easy.

My outdoor electrical outlets have cover plates on hinges that do not allow easy access. The grounded cord attached to this timer is perfect for plugging into these outlets, and the multiple ways to set the light on/off times is a bonus. Bought one last year and got 2 more this year for more lighting! Reasonably priced for being digital.
