Comments about Steel Grip 10in SlidingCompound Miter Saw (JS-1013):
Right out of the box, it's plug and play. There is NO safety lock out on the hand trigger, so beware when using this.
The Laser is a nice feature, but not all too bright outside on a cloudy day, and it uses batteries? To power it. Still old scholl there for sure. The slide is slick, it will come in very handy for doing large cut's. Things like the stops, lock out's are flimsy or just not there at all. Don't bother with the clamp, that's junk. But I wanted a slide saw that would do good miter cuts as well as straight cuts and the laser is a plus. For the money it's not bad at all, it could be a little better but hey it works well, just a few clunky quarks that come with it.
