Comments about Instant Power 128 Oz Main Line Cleaner (1801):
My toilets upstairs was flooding the downstairs toilet..my kitchen sink was slowly draining and my washing machine also made my downstairs toilet overflow....of course this was all due to my main line drain stopped up from the house to the street sewer. I was very skeptical. I had already call a "shade tree plumber" who would charge me $85 to clear with auger....but I at least wanted to try this after reading the reviews. So I put in a bottle to the clean out right outside my house...waited until the next day and pour hot water down it ...nothing had happened the water was still rising to the top...so I took a second bottle that afternoon and poured down my kitchen sink...the next day I poured boiling water down it and it drained so quickly...no stoppage at all....So I figure one last try especially since it worked in the kitchen ...I bought another bottle for my washer that was close to the flooding bathroom I poured it down the hose where water exists during the draining cycle....I came home and poured hot water down it with a funnel because the hose was small... I went outside and checked the clean out and saw absolutely....NO WATER standing. it was completely empty....So I ran the washer and stood and waited for the water to overflow in the bathroom ....nothing ...not a drop. I ran upstairs and flushed both toilets and went back downstairs to the bathroom ...and still nothing....I ran another washer full of clothes and still yet again nothing....I went back out to the clean out outside my house...EMPTY...Long story short....HAD I put the bottle in the washer hose/pipe the first time this could have been avoided...but I am still glad I used in the kitchen...It needed to be cleaned....
