- Holds a lot of feed
- Hard to clean
- Not weather proof
Comments about LILTLE GIANT Little Giant 25lb Poultry Feeder (171267):
We used to use these feeders on a farm I work at and they are the worst.
-They are top heavy and prone to falling over and squishing the hens.
-The tops come off which they leads to the hens laying eggs in the feed (or pooping in it).
-They are not weatherproof and because they hold so much feed when it gets wet it clumps together and molds quickly and then is very hard to clean out.
-They are only suitable for flat terrain and will wobble if there are any bumps.
And for all of these bad qualities, the feeder is also really expensive!
Look elsewhere for a feeder.
