Comments about M-D Building 90in Pliable Rope in Gray (71548):
When you need to seal your windows, especially double hung, then this is a great product. I use it to seal up for the winter, when I won't be opening windows anyway. If you do have to open the window, or for some reason it ever comes loose, just press it back into place.
I use this to seal between the sashes where the top and bottom sash meet; where the sash meets the sill, and at the top of the sash. It also seals between the sash and the jamb. Peel off the width you need for the gap you are sealing, and press it into place.
I just used one roll to seal up 9 windows. Keep in mind I sealed only where I felt a draft coming in, not every joint.
Duh, I haven't yet figured out what to do with it at the end of the season. Either just leave it on, or roll it up around a tp roll core, and keep it in a plastic bag.
