Comments about Craftsman Universal Coupler Kit (00916377):
Picked up this female coupler at my local ACE in order to connect my air hose to HF tools with farm style male couplers. I currently use the automotive style. The idea of having a universal coupler would have been the cat's meow but after installing it on the end of the hose I found that it was extremely difficult to couple anything to it if there were any air pressure in the line. Instead, I put the automotive style female back on the hose and screwed an automotive style male on the back end of this universal. In order to connect to it, I'd disconnect the automotive style coupler, relieving the air pressure, and then connect the tool to this, then connect the automotive style couplers back together. It's a pain but it works. Are all the universal couplers difficult to connect like this one?
