Prepare the Chicken Before Grilling

Cluck Chicken Marinade Directions

  1. Mix Together in a medium sized bowl
  2. Slice the chicken on a bias to get equal sized pieces.  Chicken Medallions
  3. Place chicken into a heavy duty Ziploc bag/pan/bowl
  4. Add oil to lightly coat the chicken
  5. Season to taste with Cluck
  6. Squeeze out the air and seal the Ziploc bag
  7. Place in the fridge and allow to soak for 10-15 minutes

How to Make Chicken Breast on at Traeger

Step 1 Preheat the Grill

Pre heat your Traeger Pro780 to 450 Degrees

Step 2 Sear

Place the chicken over the center (fire pot) area and sear on the first side for about 6-8 minutes.

PRO TIP
Visual cue is when chicken starts to turn white around the edges

Step 3 Flip and Sear

Open the lid and flip the chicken then close the lid and sear for an additional 3-4 minutes or until 165 degrees internal temperature.

Step 4 Rest

Remove from the heat and let rest uncovered.

PRO TIP
Resting will result in carry over cooking and temp will usually climb another 3-5 degrees.
