I've been using this product for years. Not only does it work well for repairing winter boots and athletic shoes, it works anywhere you need a sturdy, flexible crack filler. You don't have to coat the pieces and squeeze them together like with regular glues. Shoe Goo fills spaces and creates a waterproof seal. (Allow it to dry at least overnight.) I have also used it on a pair of women's shoes that had a very slippery sole. Just use Shoe Goo to make a grid pattern on the sole of the shoe and allow it to dry for 24 hours: no more slipping!

Use this product years ago, and I was very impress with the strength of the glue. Just let it cure completely before use. I about to try it again.

I was introduced to this stuff in 1989 when I started skateboarding. My shoes would get shredded riding my skateboard and I'd make repairs with Shoe Goo that were very durable, which easily doubled, possibly tripled the life of my sneakers because of this stuff. Really let it dry before use, I'd say 24 hours. It makes a really strong flexible bond and I am so glad that this product is still made.
